Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document patient care plans, incidents, and observations accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients with mobility.
