Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with patient documentation and record-keeping
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Support emotional and physical comfort of patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
