Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients in accordance with established nursing care plans.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate patient status changes and needs to the nursing staff and family members.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
