Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding according to their dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to patient care, including laundry and changing linens.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
