Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and safe patient transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care plans and progress notes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
