Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities, intake, and output data accurately.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Follow all facility protocols and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Strong compassion and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
