Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Colorado CNA license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional facility travel).
