Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas safely.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of New Mexico.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID.
