Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document care plans and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and availability for varying shift schedules.
