Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized procedures with precision
- Monitor patient vitals, document electronic health records accurately, and respond to emergent situations
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit-based performance optimization
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license required (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Commitment to continuous professional development
