Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Support with nutritional needs and meal service
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team for coordinated care
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Assist with medical equipment and procedures
- Comply with HIPAA and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Background check and drug screen clearance
