Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for patient-centered outcomes
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments per infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
