Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning to prevent complications
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and assist with infection control protocols
- Support patients with activities of daily living while respecting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient support
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to document accurately
- Compassionate approach with commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
