Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring.
- Administer prescribed medications and document patient responses accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Texas CNA license required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
