Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care plans and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide emotional support and education.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus (we can assist with training).
- Compassionate, patient, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (maximum weight requirements vary by facility).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
