Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Administer medications and injections per provider protocols
- Manage patient flow and maintain examination room readiness
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current Colorado MA certification or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
