Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the registered nurse or supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Document care provided accurately in the client's medical records.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
