Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the RN or Physician.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered CNA license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
