Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct patient care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure accurately.
- Assist physicians and RNs with daily treatments and medication administration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Document patient progress and care plans in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Illinois required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to patient safety and privacy standards (HIPAA).
