Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hospitality Services: Ensure the patient's room is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Communication: Communicate patient concerns, changes in condition, and care needs to the nursing staff and family members.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care activities and observations.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move safely from bed to wheelchair or chair, utilizing proper body mechanics and transfer techniques.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CNA certification is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level candidates.
- Experience: No experience required; we are looking for candidates eager to learn and grow in the medical field.
- License: Current CNA license is a plus; willing to obtain certification during employment.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and strong attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move patients safely and stand for extended periods.
