Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with eating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA Certification (State license must be active and in good standing).
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
