Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable, following strict infection control protocols.
- Communication: Serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the healthcare team, effectively communicating patient needs and changes in condition.
- Assistance: Support patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure comfort.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and intake/output in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior healthcare experience required; we provide paid training.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and a patient-first attitude.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
