Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care activities
- Assist with patient feeding, hydration, and nutrition support
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clean patient environments
- Facilitate patient transportation and assist with therapeutic exercises
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support patient dignity and emotional well-being during care interactions
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
