Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary plans and feeding schedules.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse promptly.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient room environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or medical facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in various shifts.
