Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and during transfers.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure clear communication.
- Document Care: Accurately log patient interactions and health changes in medical records.
- Maintain Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value attitude and willingness to learn over past history.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
