Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and patient transfers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, intake, and output accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or eligibility for state certification (MO).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
- CPR certification is a plus (training available).
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed.
