Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed nurses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in Kentucky.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and BLS certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
