Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment following infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA License (or LPN/RN eligibility) in the state of Wisconsin or Ohio.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
