Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support nurses with medication administration per protocol
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Communicate patient needs and changes to clinical staff
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance standards
