Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide personal hygiene and grooming support to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Report any changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as directed.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
