Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain or hold a current CNA certification (training available for the right candidates).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
