Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and in accordance with protocols.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient conditions and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment; adhere to strict infection control standards.
- Document patient care activities and relevant updates into electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of Nebraska.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
