Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist the nursing staff with basic medical procedures and medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patient care.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid State CNA Certification required (or enrollment in a CNA program).
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts as needed.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
