Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (valid in Virginia/GA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong compassion and empathy for patients and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
