Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to registered nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days if state permits).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
