Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vitals assessment, and medical history documentation.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy and EKG testing as ordered by the provider.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a physician.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Manage patient flow and ensure all documentation is accurately entered into the EHR system.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative staff to ensure quality care delivery.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred, though new graduates with relevant externships are encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
