Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure safety.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, patients, and family members regarding patient status.
- Administer medication and treatments under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- No prior experience required – we offer on-the-job training and sponsorship for certification.
- Must possess a valid Florida CNA license or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
