Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Proof of negative TB test and current immunizations.
