Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers as necessary.
- Document patient care services and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient recovery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of professional nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.
