Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care and assistance with daily living activities for patients of all ages.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures and treatments as directed.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and report concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Support patients with mobility and transfer procedures safely.
Qualifications
- Active and current Louisiana CNA License required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
