Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure optimal care.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid State CNA Certification (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
