Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document all care activities, intake, and output accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification required (or must be willing to obtain certification within 90 days).
- Current valid State of Colorado CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or must be obtained prior to start date.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
