Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide basic daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to patients in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates as directed by the nursing staff.
- Mobility Assistance: Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and using walkers or wheelchairs safely.
- Hygiene Support: Ensure patients remain clean and comfortable by changing linens and assisting with toileting needs.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team by reporting changes in patient condition or concerns promptly.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Must hold a current CNA certification or be willing to obtain one through our sponsored training program.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help others and work in a healthcare setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
