Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures and medical equipment.
- Document patient incidents, care plans, and progress accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong desire to enter the healthcare field with a compassionate and patient attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
