Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients in a compassionate and professional manner, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately and promptly as directed by the nursing staff.
- Support the nursing team with medication administration, wound care, and patient mobility assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong desire to work in the healthcare field with a focus on patient advocacy and care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
