Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take vital signs and record patient observations accurately
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Report changes in patient condition promptly
- Support meal services and nutritional needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience when working with vulnerable populations
- Reliable transportation to Manhattan facility
- Background check and health screening required
