Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility and the safe transfer of patients from beds to wheelchairs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and vital signs.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sterility of patient rooms and common areas.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA Certification or eligibility to obtain one (we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients, weighing up to 50 lbs, as required by the role.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
