Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or using walkers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties in patient rooms to ensure a comfortable stay.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a focus on quality care.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours.
