Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Support patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Environment: Maintain patient rooms and common areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly and effectively.
- Transportation: Safely transfer and transport patients using wheelchairs or walkers as directed.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and reassurance to patients and their families during their stay.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and charts regarding patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide full training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification: Willingness to obtain CNA certification or State Licensure upon employment.
- Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are essential for this role.
