Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic personal hygiene assistance to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Transport patients to and from appointments or therapy sessions using wheelchairs or walkers.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and other medical staff regarding patient conditions.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current, active CNA certification (or willing to obtain one through our sponsored program).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong desire to learn and advance within the healthcare field.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
